Iron-Based Amorphous Alloy Ribbons

Iron-based amorphous alloy ribbon is the base raw material for manufacturing high-performance transformer and motor cores. It is formed in a single step from molten steel into thin strips approximately 25-30 micrometers thick using rapid quenching technology. Its atomic arrangement presents a disordered amorphous structure (known as 'metallic glass'). This unique structure gives the material an extremely narrow hysteresis loop, high permeability, and low coercivity, making its resistivity 2-3 times higher than traditional silicon steel, thereby significantly reducing eddy current losses. As a core upstream material, it is key to achieving 'ultra-low no-load loss' and 'high energy efficiency' in downstream products.

Oil-Immersed Amorphous Transformer Cores

Oil-immersed amorphous transformer cores are made from amorphous alloy ribbons and fully immersed in insulating oil. Their core advantages lie in energy saving and environmental protection: compared to traditional silicon steel transformers, no-load losses can be reduced by approximately 75%, significantly reducing carbon emissions. The oil-immersed design provides excellent insulation and heat dissipation performance, combined with a fully sealed tank structure, making it moisture-proof and corrosion-resistant, very suitable for long-term maintenance-free operation in harsh outdoor environments (such as rural grids and industrial enterprises). Dry-Type Amorphous Transformer Cores

Dry-type amorphous transformer cores are manufactured based on iron-based amorphous alloy materials, using epoxy resin vacuum casting and other processes for insulation treatment, without using insulating oil. Their outstanding features are fire safety and zero pollution, allowing direct installation at load centers (such as high-rise buildings, subways, airports, commercial centers, and other places with extremely high fire safety requirements). The low-loss characteristics of amorphous alloys are equally reflected in these products, with no-load losses being only about 40% of traditional SCB10 products. At the same time, they have high mechanical strength, strong short-circuit resistance, low noise (10-15 decibels lower than standard), and extremely low partial discharge (controllable below 5pC), ensuring safe and reliable operation in high-density population environments.
